Sunan an-Nasa'i 2196
Abu Salamah bin 'Abdur Rahman narrated that Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that he heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say concerning Ramadan, whoever spends its nights in prayer (Taraweeh) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.’

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو رمضان کے متعلق فرماتے سنا: ”جس نے اس میں ایمان کے ساتھ اور ثواب کی نیت سے قیام اللیل کی، یعنی تہجد پڑھی تو اس کے پچھلے گناہ بخش دئیے جائیں گے“۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke mein ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Ramadan ke mutaaliq farmate suna: "jis ne is mein iman ke sath aur sawab ki niyat se qiyam al-layl ki, yani tahajud padhi to us ke pichhle gunah bakhsh diye jayenge".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ لِرَمَضَانَ " مَنْ قَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
