Sunan an-Nasa'i 2254
Uqbah bin 'Amir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah said, whoever, fasts one day in the cause of Allah, the mighty and sublime, Allah will separate him the distance of one hundred years from the fire.’

عقبہ بن عامر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو اللہ کی راہ میں ایک دن کا روزہ رکھے گا اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے جہنم کو سو سال کی مسافت کی دوری پر کر دے گا“۔
Aqbah bin Aamer (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jo Allah ki raah mein ek din ka roza rakhega Allah Ta'ala us se jahannam ko soo saal ki masaafat ki doori par kar dega".
أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ جَهَنَّمَ مَسِيرَةَ مِائَةِ عَامٍ " .
