Sunan an-Nasa'i 2292
Al-'Awwam bin Hawshab narrated that he said to Mujahid, 'what about fasting while traveling?' He said, 'the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to fast (sometimes) and not fast (sometimes).’
Grade: Sahih
عوام بن حوشب کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے مجاہد سے سفر میں روزہ رکھنے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ سفر میں روزہ رکھتے تھے اور نہیں بھی رکھتے تھے ۔
Awam bin Hawshab kehte hain ke main ne Mujahid se safar mein roza rakhne ke bare mein poocha to unhon ne kaha: Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) safar mein roza rakhte the aur nahin bhi rakhte the
أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِمُجَاهِدٍ الصَّوْمُ فِي السَّفَرِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُ وَيُفْطِرُ .
