Sunan an-Nasa'i 3424
Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah bin Ka'b bin Malik narrated that Abdullah bin Ka'b said, ‘I heard Ka'b (رضي الله تعالی عنہ) narrate the Hadith about when he stayed behind and did not join the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) on the expedition to Tabuk. He said, 'the envoy of the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to me and said, ‘the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليه وآله وسلم) commands you to keep away from your wife.’ I said, ‘shall I divorce her, or what should I do?’ He said, ‘no, just keep away from her and do not approach her.’ And he sent similar instructions to my two companions. I said to my wife, ‘go to your family and stay with them until Allah ( ََّّ وَ جَلعَز) decides concerning this matter.’

عبداللہ بن کعب کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کو اپنا اس وقت کا قصہ بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے جب وہ غزوہ تبوک میں جاتے وقت رسول اللہ ﷺ سے پیچھے رہ گئے تھے اور شریک نہ ہوئے تھے۔ اس واقعہ کے ذکر کرنے کے دوران انہوں نے بتایا کہ اچانک رسول اللہ ﷺ کا قاصد میرے پاس آتا ہے اور کہتا ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ تمہیں حکم دیتے ہیں کہ تم اپنی بیوی کو چھوڑ دو، میں نے ( اس سے ) کہا: میں اسے طلاق دے دوں یا کیا کروں؟ اس نے کہا: ( طلاق نہ دو ) بلکہ اس سے الگ رہو اس کے قریب نہ جاؤ۔ میرے دونوں ساتھیوں کے پاس بھی ( رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ) ایسا ہی پیغام دے کر بھیجا۔ میں نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا: تم اپنے گھر والوں کے پاس چلی جاؤ اور ان لوگوں کے ساتھ رہو اور اس وقت تک رہو جب تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس معاملے میں اپنا فیصلہ نہ سنا دے۔ معقل بن عبیداللہ نے ان سب کے خلاف ذکر کیا ہے ( تفصیل آگے حدیث میں آ رہی ہے ) ۔
Abdul-Allah bin Ka'ab kehte hain ke main ne Ka'ab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko apna is waqt ka qissa bayan karte hue suna hai jab woh ghazwa e Tabuk mein jaate waqt Rasool-Allah sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam se pichhe reh gaye the aur shirik nahin hue the. Is waqia ke zikr karne ke doran unhon ne bataya ke achanak Rasool-Allah sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam ka qasid mere pas aata hai aur kehta hai ke Rasool-Allah sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam tumhein hukm dete hain ke tum apni biwi ko chhod do, main ne ( is se ) kaha: main use talak de dun ya kya karun? Us ne kaha: ( talak nahin do ) balke us se alag raho us ke qareeb nahin jao. Mere donon sathiyon ke pas bhi ( Rasool-Allah sall-Allahu alaihi wa sallam ne ) aisa hi pegam de kar bheja. Main ne apni biwi se kaha: tum apne ghar walon ke pas chali jao aur in logon ke sath raho aur is waqt tak raho jab tak ke Allah Ta'ala is mamle mein apna faisla nahin suna de. Maqal bin Ubaid-Allah ne in sab ke khilaf zikr kiya hai ( tafsil aage hadith mein aa rahi hai ) .
أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كَعْبًا، يُحَدِّثُ حَدِيثَهُ حِينَ تَخَلَّفَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ وَقَالَ فِيهِ إِذَا رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْتِينِي وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَعْتَزِلَ امْرَأَتَكَ . فَقُلْتُ أُطَلِّقُهَا أَمْ مَاذَا أَفْعَلُ قَالَ بَلِ اعْتَزِلْهَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبْهَا . وَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى صَاحِبَىَّ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ فَقُلْتُ لاِمْرَأَتِي الْحَقِي بِأَهْلِكِ وَكُونِي عِنْدَهُمْ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي هَذَا الأَمْرِ . خَالَفَهُمْ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ .
