Sunan an-Nasa'i 3830
Qais bin Abi Gharazah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to us when we were in the marketplace and said, 'this marketplace is filled with idle talk and (false) oaths, so mix some charity with it.'

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس نے کسی بات پر قسم کھائی اور ان شاءاللہ کہا تو اب اسے اختیار ہے چاہے تو قسم پوری کرے اور چاہے تو نہ کرے ۔
Abdul-Allah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a riwayat karte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis ne kisi baat per qasam khai aur in sha Allah kaha to ab isay ikhtiyar hai chahe to qasam puri kare aur chahe to na kare.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَقَالَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَمْضَى وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ " .
