Sunan an-Nasa'i 4341
Abu Tha’labah Al-Khushani (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that they went on a military campaign with the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) to Khaibar, and the people were starving. They found some domesticated donkeys there, so the people slaughtered some of them. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was told about that, and he ordered Abdur-rahman bin Awf (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to announce to the people, ‘the flesh of domesticated donkeys is not permissible for the one who testifies that I am the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’

ابوثعلبہ خشنی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ وہ لوگ ( صحابہ کرام ) رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ غزوہ کے لیے خیبر گئے، لوگ بھوکے تھے، انہیں وہاں گھریلو گدھوں میں سے کچھ گدھے مل گئے، لوگوں نے ان میں سے کچھ ذبح کیے۔ اس کا ذکر نبی اکرم ﷺ سے کیا گیا تو آپ نے عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا۔ انہوں نے لوگوں میں اعلان کیا: سنو! پالتو گدھوں کا گوشت اس شخص کے لیے حلال نہیں جو گواہی دے کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں ۔

Paltou Gadhon Ka Gosht Is Shakhsh Ke Liye Halal Nahin Jo Gawahi De Ke Main Allah Ka Rasool Hun
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ بَحِيرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ، غَزَوْا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى خَيْبَرَ وَالنَّاسُ جِيَاعٌ فَوَجَدُوا فِيهَا حُمُرًا مِنْ حُمُرِ الإِنْسِ فَذَبَحَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا فَحُدِّثَ بِذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ فَأَذَّنَ فِي النَّاسِ " أَلاَ إِنَّ لُحُومَ الْحُمُرِ الإِنْسِ لاَ تَحِلُّ لِمَنْ يَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ " .
