Sunan an-Nasa'i 4533
Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) forbade Muzabanah. And Muzabanah is when what is at the tops of the trees is sold for a certain number of dried dates, if there are more then I gain, and if there are less the I lose.’ 31 Return to Contents

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے بیع مزابنہ سے منع فرمایا، اور مزابنہ یہ ہے کہ درخت میں موجود پھل کو متعین توڑے ہوئے پھلوں سے بیچنا اس طور پر کہ زیادہ ہوا تو بھی میرا ( یعنی کا ) اور کم ہوا تو بھی میرے ذمہ۔
Abdul'lah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ke Rasool'Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bey'e mazabanah se mana farmaya, aur mazabanah yeh hai ke darakht mein maujood phal ko mutayyin tore hue phalun se bechna is tor par ke ziyada hua to bhi mera ( yani ka ) aur kam hua to bhi mere zimma.
أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنِ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ أَنْ يُبَاعَ مَا فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِتَمْرٍ بِكَيْلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنْ زَادَ لِي وَإِنْ نَقَصَ فَعَلَىَّ .
