Sunan an-Nasa'i 4638
Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I went on a campaign with the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) riding a camel of ours,’ and then he quoted the whole Hadith. Then he said words to the effect that, ‘the camel got tried and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hit it, so it became energetic and came to the front of the army. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘O Jabir, I see that your camel has become energetic.’ I said, ‘it is because of your blessing, O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’ He said, ‘sell it to me, and you can ride it till we arrive (in Al-Madinah).’ So, I sold it to him. I needed it myself, but I felt too shy to refuse. When we finished our campaign, and we were close to Al-Madinah, I asked his permission to go on ahead. I said, ‘O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I am newly 71 Return to Contents married.’ He said, ‘have you married a virgin or a previously married woman?’ I said, ‘a previously married woman, O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Abdullah bin Amr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) died and left behind young daughters, and I did not like to bring to them someone who was like them, so I married a previously married woman who could teach them and rise them with good manners.’ So, he gave me permission, and said to me, ‘go to your family at the end of the day.’ When I arrived, I told my maternal uncle that I had sold the camel and he scolded me. When the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came, I brought the camel to him, and he gave me the price of the camel, and the camel, and share (of the spoils of war) with the rest of the people.’

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ساتھ اپنے سینچائی کرنے والے اونٹ پر بیٹھ کر جہاد کیا، پھر انہوں نے لمبی حدیث بیان کی، پھر ایک چیز کا تذکرہ کیا جس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اونٹ تھک گیا تو اسے نبی اکرم ﷺ نے ڈانٹا تو وہ تیز ہو گیا یہاں تک کہ سارے لشکر سے آگے نکل گیا، نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جابر! تمہارا اونٹ تو لگ رہا ہے کہ بہت تیز ہو گیا ہے“، میں نے عرض کیا: آپ کے ذریعہ سے ہونے والی برکت سے اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے فرمایا: ”اسے، میرے ہاتھ بیچ دو۔ البتہ تم ( مدینہ ) پہنچنے تک اس پر سوار ہو سکتے ہو“، چنانچہ میں نے اسے بیچ دیا حالانکہ مجھے اس کی سخت ضرورت تھی۔ لیکن مجھے آپ سے شرم آئی۔ جب ہم غزوہ سے فارغ ہوئے اور ( مدینے کے ) قریب ہوئے تو میں نے آپ سے جلدی سے آگے جانے کی اجازت مانگی، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے ابھی جلد شادی کی ہے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”کنواری سے شادی کی ہے یا بیوہ سے؟“ میں نے عرض کیا: بیوہ سے، اللہ کے رسول! والد صاحب عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما مارے گئے اور انہوں نے کنواری لڑکیاں چھوڑی ہیں، تو مجھے برا معلوم ہوا کہ میں ان کے پاس ان جیسی ( کنواری لڑکی ) لے کر آؤں، لہٰذا میں نے بیوہ سے شادی کی ہے جو انہیں تعلیم و تربیت دے گی، تو آپ نے مجھے اجازت دے دی اور مجھ سے فرمایا: ”اپنی بیوی کے پاس شام کو جانا“، جب میں مدینے پہنچا تو میں نے اپنے ماموں کو اونٹ بیچنے کی اطلاع دی، تو انہوں نے مجھے ملامت کی، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ پہنچے تو میں صبح کو اونٹ لے کر آپ کے پاس گیا، تو آپ نے مجھے اونٹ کی قیمت ادا کی اور اونٹ بھی دے دیا اور ( مال غنیمت میں سے ) ایک حصہ سب لوگوں کے برابر دیا۔
Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main ne Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath apne sinchayi karne wala ont per beth kar jihad kiya, phir unhon ne lambi hadees bayan ki, phir ek cheez ka tazkara kiya jis ka matlab yeh hai ke ont thaak gaya to usse Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne danta to woh teez ho gaya yahaan tak ke sare lashkar se aage nikal gaya, Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jabir! Tumhara ont to lag raha hai ke bahut teez ho gaya hai", main ne arz kiya: Aap ke zariye se hone wali barkat se Allah ke Rasool! Aap ne farmaya: "Isse, mere hath bech do. Albatta tum (Madina) pahunchne tak is per sawar ho sakte ho", chananch main ne isse bech diya halankeh mujhe is ki sakht zarurat thi. Lekin mujhe aap se sharm aai. Jab hum ghazwa se farigh hue aur (Madine ke) qareeb hue to main ne aap se jaldi se aage jaane ki ijazat maangi, main ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Main ne abhi jaldi shaadi ki hai, Aap ne farmaya: "Kunwari se shaadi ki hai ya biwa se?" Main ne arz kiya: Biwa se, Allah ke Rasool! Wald sahib Abdullah bin Amr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a mare gaye aur unhon ne kunwari ladkiyan chhodi hain, to mujhe bara maloom hua ke main un ke pass un jaisi (kunwari ladki) le kar aon, lahaza main ne biwa se shaadi ki hai jo unhen taaleem o tarbiyat degi, to Aap ne mujhe ijazat de di aur mujh se farmaya: "Apni biwi ke pass sham ko jana", jab main Madine pahuncha to main ne apne mamu ko ont bechne ki itlalaa di, to unhon ne mujhe mlamat ki, jab Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pahunche to main subah ko ont le kar Aap ke pass gaya, to Aap ne mujhe ont ki qimat ada ki aur ont bhi de diya aur (mal ghanimat mein se) ek hissa sab logoon ke barabar diya.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الطَّبَّاعِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى نَاضِحٍ لَنَا ثُمَّ ذَكَرْتُ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ كَلاَمًا مَعْنَاهُ فَأُزْحِفَ الْجَمَلُ فَزَجَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَانْتَشَطَ حَتَّى كَانَ أَمَامَ الْجَيْشِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا جَابِرُ مَا أَرَى جَمَلَكَ إِلاَّ قَدِ انْتَشَطَ " . قُلْتُ بِبَرَكَتِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " بِعْنِيهِ وَلَكَ ظَهْرُهُ حَتَّى تَقْدَمَ " . فَبِعْتُهُ وَكَانَتْ لِي إِلَيْهِ حَاجَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ وَلَكِنِّي اسْتَحْيَيْتُ مِنْهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا غَزَاتَنَا وَدَنَوْنَا اسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ بِالتَّعْجِيلِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِعُرْسٍ . قَالَ " أَبِكْرًا تَزَوَّجْتَ أَمْ ثَيِّبًا " . قُلْتُ بَلْ ثَيِّبًا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو أُصِيبَ وَتَرَكَ جَوَارِيَ أَبْكَارًا فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ آتِيَهُنَّ بِمِثْلِهِنَّ فَتَزَوَّجْتُ ثَيِّبًا تُعَلِّمُهُنَّ وَتُؤَدِّبُهُنَّ فَأَذِنَ لِي وَقَالَ لِي " ائْتِ أَهْلَكَ عِشَاءً " . فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ أَخْبَرْتُ خَالِي بِبَيْعِيَ الْجَمَلَ فَلاَمَنِي فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَدَوْتُ بِالْجَمَلِ فَأَعْطَانِي ثَمَنَ الْجَمَلِ وَالْجَمَلَ وَسَهْمًا مَعَ النَّاسِ .
