Sunan an-Nasa'i 494
It was narrated from Ibn Shihab that 'Umar bin 'Abdul-'Aziz delayed the 'Asr prayer a little. 'Urwah said to him : "Jibril (عليه السالم) came down and led the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in prayer." 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said: "Watch what you are saying, O 'Urwah!" He said : "I heard Bashir bin Abi Mas'ud say: 'I heard Abu Mas'ud ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) say: "I heard the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say: 'Jibril (عليه السالم) came down and led me in prayer, and I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him - and he counted off five prayers on his fingers.'"

ابن شہاب زہری سے روایت ہے کہ عمر بن عبدالعزیز نے عصر میں کچھ تاخیر کر دی، تو عروہ نے ان سے کہا: کیا آپ کو معلوم نہیں؟ جبرائیل علیہ السلام نازل ہوئے، اور آپ نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو نماز پڑھائی ۱؎ اس پر عمر بن عبدالعزیز نے کہا: عروہ! جو تم کہہ رہے ہو اسے خوب سوچ سمجھ کر کہو، تو عروہ نے کہا: میں نے بشیر بن ابی مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ہے وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ میں نے ابومسعود سے سنا وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے سنا ہے کہ جبرائیل اترے، اور انہوں نے میری امامت کرائی، تو میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، آپ اپنی انگلیوں پر پانچوں نمازوں کو گن رہے تھے۔
Ibn Shahab Zahri se riwayat hai ke Umar bin Abdul Aziz ne asr mein kuchh taqir kar di, to عروہ نے un se kaha: kya aap ko maloom nahin? أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، أَخَّرَ الْعَصْرَ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ أَمَا إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ قَدْ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى أَمَامَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ عُمَرُ اعْلَمْ مَا تَقُولُ يَا عُرْوَةُ . فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ بَشِيرَ بْنَ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَّنِي فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ " . يَحْسُبُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ .
