Sunan an-Nasa'i 5351
Ali ( رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I made some food and invited the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) (to come and eat). He came and entered, then he saw a curtain on which there were images, so he went out and said, ‘the Angels do not enter a house in which there are images.’

علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے کھانا تیار کیا اور نبی اکرم ﷺ کو مدعو کیا، چنانچہ آپ تشریف لائے اور اندر داخل ہوئے تو ایک پردہ دیکھا جس میں تصویریں بنی ہوئی تھیں ۱؎، تو آپ باہر نکل گئے اور فرمایا: ”فرشتے ایسے گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جن میں تصویریں ہوں“۔
Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke mein ne khana tayyar kiya aur Nabi e Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko mad'u kiya, chananchh aap tashreef laye aur andar dakhil hue to ek pardah dekha jis mein taswirein bani hui thi, to aap bahar nikal gaye aur farmaya: “Farishte aise ghar mein dakhil nahi hote jin mein taswirein hon”.
حَدَّثَنَا مَسْعُودُ بْنُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ صَنَعْتُ طَعَامًا فَدَعَوْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَاءَ فَدَخَلَ فَرَأَى سِتْرًا فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ فَخَرَجَ وَقَالَ " إِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ لاَ تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ تَصَاوِيرُ " .
