Al-Mu'jam al-Saghir 1087
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The destruction of my Ummah will be through arrows and plague." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! We know what arrows are, but what is plague?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It is a strike from your enemy, the jinn, and in it is martyrdom for each (person)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میری امّت کا فنا ہونا تیروں اور طاعون میں ہے۔“ ہم نے کہا: یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! طعن کو تو ہم جانتے ہیں طاعون کیا ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ تمہارے دشمن جنوں کا وار ہے، اور ہر ایک میں شہادت ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA kahte hain ki Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: "Meri ummat ka fana hona teeron aur taun mein hai." Hum ne kaha: Ya Rasul Allah SAW! Taun ko to hum jante hain, taun kya hai? Aap SAW ne farmaya: "Yeh tumhare dushman jinnon ka waar hai, aur har ek mein shahadat hai."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزْدَادَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ الْخَطِيبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ النَّصِيبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِصْمَةَ النَّصِيبِيُّ ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ حَكَمٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"فَنَاءُ أُمَّتِي فِي الطَّعْنِ وَالطَّاعُونِ، قُلْنَا: قَدْ عَرَفْنَا الطَّعْنَ فَمَا الطَّاعُونُ؟، قَالَ: وَخْزُ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ، وَفِي كُلٍّ شَهَادَةٌ"، لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ، إِلا بِشْرٌ، وَلا عَنْ بِشْرٍ، إِلا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِصْمَةَ
