Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 330
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) reports : Rasulullah ﷺ performed haj on an old pack saddle. On it was a piece of cloth, the value of which was less than four Dirhams. (It may be possible that by on it Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam himself is meant here. i.e. He covered himself with an ordinary sheet. The value of which did not reach four Dirhams. This explanation is most accepted by the respected teachers. The eleventh hadith in this chapter strengthens this). Rasulullah ﷺ was reciting this duaa: Allah make this haj one that has no show or fame.
’’سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک پرانے کجاوہ پر حج کیا اور آپ ﷺ نے ایک ایسی چادر اوڑھ رکھی تھی جس کی قیمت چار درہم کے برابر بھی نہ تھی آپ ﷺ نے (اس موقع پر) یہ دعا فرمائی: ’’اے اللہ! اس حج کو ایسا بنا دے جس میں نہ ریاء ہو اور نہ شہرت ہو۔‘‘
Sayyidana Anas bin Malik Radi Allah Anhu farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek purane kajawah per Hajj kiya aur Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aisi chadar odh rakhi thi jis ki qeemat chaar dirham ke barabar bhi nahi thi Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne (is mauqa per) yeh dua farmai: 'Ae Allah! Is Hajj ko aisa bana de jis mein na riya ho aur na shohrat ho.'
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ،حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ صَبِيحٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: حَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى رَحْلٍ رَثٍّ وَعَلَيْهِ قَطِيفَةٌ لَا تُسَاوِي أَرْبَعَةَ دَرَاهِمَ فَقَالَ: ((اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ حَجًّا لَا رِيَاءَ فِيهِ وَلَا سُمْعَةَ))
