Concerning the person in Ihram who dies, is his head covered
فِي الْمُحْرِمِ يَمُوتُ يُغَطَّى رَأْسُهُ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 14429
It is narrated by Hazrat Ibn Abbas that a Muhrim (person in the state of Ihram) was with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and a camel made him fall and killed him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Wash him with water and the leaves of the lote tree, and shroud him in his Ihram clothes, and do not cover his head, and do not perfume him, for indeed Allah will raise him up on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.
حضرت ابن عباس سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ ایک محرم شخص تھا، اونٹ نے اس کو گرا کر ھلاک کردیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : اس کو پانی اور بیری کے پتوں سے غسل دو ، اور اس کو اسی احرام میں کفن دو ، اور اس کے سر کو مت ڈھانپنا، اور اس کو خوشبو بھی نہ لگانا بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو قیامت کے دن تلبیہ پڑھتے ہوئے اٹھائے گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas se marvi hai ki Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath ek muhrim shakhs tha, unt ne usko gira kar halak kardiya, Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: usko pani aur beri ke patton se ghusl do, aur usko usi ehram mein kafan do, aur uske sar ko mat dhanpna, aur usko khushbu bhi na lagana beshak Allah Ta'ala usko qayamat ke din talbiyah padhte hue uthaye ga.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not cover his head, for Allah will raise him on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah."
حضرت ابن عباس سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : اس کے سر کو مت ڈھانپو، بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو قیامت کے دن تلبیہ پڑھتے ہوئے اٹھائے گا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Iss ke sar ko mat dhako, beshak Allah Ta'ala iss ko qayamat ke din talbiyah padhte hue uthaye ga.
It was asked from Hazrat Ata that if a Muhrim dies, will his head be covered at the time of shrouding? You said that Ibn Umar's head was covered, but no one else's head was covered except him.
حضرت عطائ سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ محرم کا اگر انتقال ہوجائے تو اس کو کفن دیتے وقت اس کے سر کو ڈھانپا جائے گا ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ حضرت ابن عمر کا تو ڈھانپا گیا تھا مگر آپ کے علاوہ کسی کا نہیں ڈھانپا گیا۔
Hazrat Ata se daryaft kiya gaya keh muharram ka agar inteqal hojae to us ko kafan dete waqt us ke sar ko dhanpa jae ga? Aap ne farmaya keh Hazrat Ibn Umar ka to dhanpa gaya tha magar aap ke ilawa kisi ka nahi dhanpa gaya.
It was asked to Hazrat Ayesha that if a Muhrim passes away? You said to treat him the same way as you treat your men.
حضرت عائشہ سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ اگر محرم کا انتقال ہوجائے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا اس کے ساتھ وہی معاملہ کرو جو تم اپنے مردوں کے ساتھ کرتے ہو۔
Hazrat Ayesha se daryaft kiya gaya keh agar muharram ka inteqal hojae? Aap ne farmaya iss ke saath wohi mamla karo jo tum apne mardon ke saath karte ho.
It was asked from Hazrat Ukrama (R.A) that what if a Muhrim passes away? You said that his Ihram is finished and he should be given the kafan (funeral shroud) just like the one who is not in the state of Ihram.
حضرت عکرمہ سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ اگر محرم کا انتقال ہوجائے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا اس کا احرام ختم ہوگیا اس کو اسی طرح کفن دیں گے جس طرح بغیر احرام والے شخص کو دیا جاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Akrma se daryaft kiya gaya keh agar muharram ka inteqal hojae? Aap ne farmaya is ka ehram khatam hogaya is ko isi tarah kafan denge jis tarah baghair ehram wale shakhs ko diya jata hai.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Cover your faces, do not imitate the Jews."
حضرت عطائ سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ان کے چہروں کو ڈھانپ دو ، یہودیوں کی مشابہت اختیار مت کرو۔
Hazrat Ata se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: In ke chehron ko dhaanp do, Yahoodion ki mushabashat ikhtiyar mat karo.
