Hazrat Ibrahim was asked that if a group of slaves is assigned the task of writing (a book) and some of them pass away, what is the ruling? He replied that the remaining slaves should collectively strive to complete the remaining writing.
حضرت ابراہیم سے سوال کیا گیا کہ اگر غلاموں کی ایک جماعت کو مکاتب بنایا جائے اور ان میں سے کچھ مرجائیں تو کیا حکم ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا کہ باقی غلام مل کر بدل کتابت کو پورا کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim se sawal kiya gaya keh agar ghulamon ki ek jamaat ko makateb banaya jaye aur un mein se kuchh marjain to kya hukum hai? Unhon ne farmaya keh baqi ghulam mil kar badal kitabat ko poora karne ki koshish karenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Hafs ibn Ghiyath that he said: I asked Umar ibn al-Khattab, "What is your opinion, what was the opinion of Hasan, that if a group of slaves is made to learn to read and write and some of them die, what is the ruling?" He said: "Their share will be dropped from them."
حضرت حفص بن غیاث سے فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عمر سے سوال کیا کہ حضرت حسن کی کیا رائے تھی کہ اگر غلاموں کی ایک جماعت کو مکاتب بنایا جائے اور ان میں سے کچھ مرجائیں تو کیا حکم ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا کہ ان سے ان کا حصہ ساقط ہوجائے گا۔
Hazrat Hafs bin Ghiyas se farmate hain ke maine Hazrat Umar se sawal kiya ke Hazrat Hassan ki kya rae thi ke agar gulamon ki ek jamaat ko makatib banaya jaye aur un mein se kuchh marjain to kya hukum hai? Unhon ne farmaya ke un se un ka hissa saqit ho jaye ga.
It was asked from the noble command (Prophet Muhammad) that if a group of slaves is appointed for writing (knowledge) and some of them die, what is the ruling? He said, "Their share will be omitted (cancelled)."
حضرت حکم سے سوال کیا گیا کہ اگر غلاموں کی ایک جماعت کو مکاتب بنایا جائے اور ان میں سے کچھ مرجائیں تو کیا حکم ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا کہ ان کا حصہ ساقط ہوجائے گا۔
