It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Muhammad bin Hatab, that he said: In my childhood I crawled to a cooking pot and burned my hand. My mother took me to a man in Batha and said, "This is Muhammad, his hand is burned." So that Sheikh began to blow on my hand and recited some words which I could not remember. Then when Hazrat Uthman was the Caliph, I said (to my mother), "Who was that Sheikh to whom you took me?" She said, "He was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."
حضرت محمد بن حاطب سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ میں (بچپن میں) اپنی ایک ہانڈی کی طرف رینگتے ہوئے جا پہنچا اور میرا ہاتھ جل گیا، تو میری والدہ مجھے لے کر مقام بطحاء میں ایک شخص کے پاس آئیں اور عرض کیا یہ محمد ہے، اس کا ہاتھ جل گیا ہے، پس اس شیخ نے ہاتھ پر پھونکنا شروع کیا اور کچھ کلمات بھی پڑھے جن کو میں یاد نہ رکھ سکا، پھر جب حضرت عثمان کی امارت کا زمانہ تھا تو میں نے (والدہ سے) کہا، وہ کون شیخ تھے جن کے پاس آپ مجھے لے کرگئی تھیں ؟ والدہ نے کہا، وہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تھے۔

A man from the Banu Salamah bin Sa'd narrated, on the authority of his mother, that her paternal uncle, Habib bin Fuwayk, told her that Habib's father took him to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while his eyes were dim and he could not see anything. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked his father, "What has happened to him?" His father told him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blew into Habib's eyes. So I (Habib) saw him threading a needle while he was eighty years old and his eyes were white.
بنو سلامان بن سعد کے ایک آدمی، اپنی والدہ کے واسطہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ان کے ماموں حبیب بن فویک نے ان کی والدہ سے بیان کیا کہ ان (حبیب) کے والد انھیں لے کر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے جبکہ ان کی آنکھیں بےنور تھیں، ان سے کوئی چیز دکھائی نہیں س دیتی تھی، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اُن (والد) سے پوچھا کہ اس (حبیب) کو کیا ہوا ہے ؟ والد نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو بتایا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس (حبیب) کی آنکھوں میں پھونک ماری۔ پس میں نے (حبیب) کو دیکھا کہ وہ سوئی میں دھاگہ ڈال رہے تھے جبکہ ان کی عمر اسّی سال تھی اور ان کی آنکھیں سفید تھیں۔
Bano Salaman bin Saad ke aik aadmi apni walida ke wasita se riwayat karte hain ke unke mamun Habib bin Fowaiq ne unki walida se bayan kiya ke un (Habib) ke wald unhen lekar Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir huye jabke unki aankhen benoor thin, unse koi cheez dikhayi nahi deti thi, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un (wald) se pucha ke iss (Habib) ko kya huwa hai? Wald ne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko bataya, aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne iss (Habib) ki aankhon mein phunk maari. Pas maine (Habib) ko dekha ke woh sui mein dhaaga daal rahe the jabke unki umar assi saal thi aur unki aankhen safaid thin.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ayesha that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite ruqyah and blow on himself.
حضرت عائشہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تعویذ، دم میں پھونک مارا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) taweez, dum mein phoonk mara karte thay.
Narrated Ya'la bin Murra: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). A woman lifted her child up to him (ﷺ). He (ﷺ) took the child's armpits and placed him between himself and the woman. Then, he (ﷺ) opened the child's mouth and blew into it.
حضرت یعلی بن مرہ سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس ایک عورت نے بچہ کو اوپر اٹھایا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس بچہ کا کجاوہ اور اپنے درمیان کرلیا پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کا منہ کھولا اور اس میں پھونک ماری۔
Hazrat Ya'la bin Murrah se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke maine Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dekha : Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke pass ek aurat ne bachcha ko upar uthaya to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne us bachcha ka kajawa aur apne darmiyan karliya phir Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne us ka munh khola aur us mein phoonk maari.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Qais bin Muhammad bin Ash'ath, who said that I was taken to Hazrat Aisha while I had pain in my eyes, then Hazrat Aisha blew on me and recited a prayer.
حضرت قیس بن محمد بن اشعث سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے حضرت عائشہ کی خدمت میں لے جایا گیا جبکہ میری آنکھوں میں تکلیف تھی تو حضرت عائشہ نے مجھے دم کیا اور پھونک ماری۔
Hazrat Qais bin Muhammad bin Ashas se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke mujhe Hazrat Ayesha ki khidmat mein le jaya gaya jabke meri aankhon mein takleef thi to Hazrat Ayesha ne mujhe dum kiya aur phoonk maari.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ibn Aun that he said: I asked Muhammad about blowing (on food or drink), so you replied: I do not see any harm in it.
حضرت ابن عون سے روایت ہے، کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے محمد سے اس دم کے بارے میں سوال کیا جس میں پھونک (بھی) ماری جاتی ہے ؟ تو آپ نے جواب میں فرمایا : میں اس میں کوئی حرج محسوس نہیں کرتا۔
Hazrat Ibn Aun se riwayat hai, kehte hain ke maine Muhammad se us dum ke bare mein sawal kiya jis mein phoonk (bhi) maari jati hai? To aap ne jawab mein farmaya: mein is mein koi haraj mehsoos nahin karta.
