It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Taus, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a silver ring which was in your (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) hand. Then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You have an eye and it also has flaws. Indeed, it put me in difficulty today." So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took it off and then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave it to a man.
حضرت طاؤس سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی چاندی کی انگوٹھی تھی جو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ہاتھ میں تھی۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” تمہاری بھی نظر ہے اور اس میں بھی عیب و نقصان ہے۔ تحقیق اس نے مجھے آج دشواری میں ڈال دیا ہے۔ “ چنانچہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو اتار دیا پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وہ ایک آدمی کو دے دی۔
Hazrat Taous se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke janab rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ki chandi ki anguthi thi jo aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke hath mein thi. Phir aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya: "Tumhari bhi nazar hai aur is mein bhi aib o nuqsan hai. Tehqeeq is ne mujhe aaj dushwari mein daal diya hai." Chunache aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne is ko utaar diya phir aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne woh ek aadmi ko de di.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a ring of silver made, and it remained in your hand (O Messenger of Allah!). Then after you (it came) into the hand of Abu Bakr, then into the hand of 'Umar, then into the hand of 'Uthman, until it fell from him into the well of Aris. And it had the inscription, "Muhammad the Messenger of Allah."
حضرت ابن عمر سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے چاندی کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی۔ پس وہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ہاتھ میں رہی۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے بعد حضرت ابوبکر کے ہاتھ میں تھی پھر حضرت عمر کے ہاتھ میں رہی۔ پھر حضرت عثمان کے ہاتھ میں رہی ۔ یہاں تک کہ یہ آپ سے بئیر اریس میں گرگئی۔ اور اس کا نقش ” محمد رسول اللّٰہ “ تھا۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke Janab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne chandi ki ek anguthi banwai. Pas wo aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hath mein rahi. Phir aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke baad Hazrat Abu Bakr ke hath mein thi phir Hazrat Umar ke hath mein rahi. Phir Hazrat Usman ke hath mein rahi. Yahan tak ke ye aap se bair aris mein gir gai. Aur iska naqsh "Muhammad Rasul Allah" tha.
