Hazrat Abu Ishaq narrates that Hazrat Amr bin Maimoon said: When Allah, the Exalted, honored Hazrat Musa (Moses) with a secret conversation, you saw a man clinging to the Throne. You asked: O Lord! Who is this person? Allah, the Exalted, said: He is a righteous servant among My servants. If you wish, I can tell you about his deeds? You submitted: O Lord! Please tell me. Allah, the Exalted, said: This person does not envy people for the things that Allah, the Exalted, has bestowed upon them from His bounty.
حضرت ابو اسحاق فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمرو بن میمون نے ارشاد فرمایا : جب اللہ رب العزت نے حضرت موسیٰ کو سرگوشی کے لیے عزت بخشی، تو آپ نے ایک آدمی کو عرش سے چمٹا ہوا دیکھا۔ آپ نے پوچھا : اے پروردگار ! یہ کون شخص ہے ؟ اللہ رب العزت نے فرمایا : میرے بندوں میں سے نیک بندہ ہے۔ اگر تم چاہو تو میں تمہیں اس کے عمل کے متعلق بتلاؤں ؟ آپ نے عرض کی، اے پروردگار ! مجھے بتلائیے۔ اللہ رب العزت نے فرمایا : یہ شخص لوگوں سے حسد نہیں کرتا ان چیزوں میں جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان لوگوں کو اپنے فضل سے عطا کی تھیں۔
Hazrat Abu Ishaq farmate hain ke Hazrat Amr bin Maimoon ne irshad farmaya: Jab Allah Rab ul Izzat ne Hazrat Musa ko sargoshi ke liye izzat bakhshi, to aap ne ek aadmi ko Arsh se chimtta hua dekha. Aap ne poocha: Aye Parwardigaar! Yeh kaun shakhs hai? Allah Rab ul Izzat ne farmaya: Mere bandon mein se nek banda hai. Agar tum chaho to main tumhen is ke amal ke mutalliq bataun? Aap ne arz ki, Aye Parwardigaar! Mujhe bataiye. Allah Rab ul Izzat ne farmaya: Yeh shakhs logon se hasad nahin karta un cheezon mein jo Allah Ta'ala ne un logon ko apne fazl se ata ki thin.
Hazrat Anas narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, envy devours good deeds just as fire devours firewood."
حضرت انس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : یقیناً حسد نیکیوں کو ایسے ہی کھا جاتا ہے جیسے آگ لکڑیوں کو کھا جاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Anas farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya : Yaqinan hasad nekiyon ko aise hi kha jata hai jaise aag lakriyon ko kha jati hai.
Hazrat Hasan Basri narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The time is near when greed will prevail over destiny, and the time is near when poverty and destitution will become a cause of disbelief.
حضرت حسن بصری فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : قریب ہے کہ حسد تقدیر پر غالب آجائے اور قریب ہے کہ فقر و فاقہ کفر کا سبب بن جائے۔
Hazrat Hasan Basri farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya : Qareeb hai keh hasad taqdeer par ghalib aajaye aur qareeb hai keh faqr o faqah kufr ka sabab ban jaye.
Hazrat Abu Raja narrates that Hazrat Hasan Basri, in relation to this verse: Translation: "And they do not find in their hearts any need for that which they are given." You said: Envy is meant.
حضرت ابو رجائ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت حسن بصری نے اس آیت کے متعلق : ترجمہ : اور نہیں پاتے اپنے دلوں میں کوئی حاجت اس چیز کی جو انھیں دی جائے۔ آپ نے فرمایا : حسد مراد ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Raja farmate hain keh Hazrat Hasan Basri ne is aayat ke mutaliq: Tarjuma: Aur nahi pate apne dilon mein koi hajat us cheez ki jo unhen di jaye. Aap ne farmaya: Hasad murad hai.
