It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So when one of you sees something he dislikes (in a dream), he should spit lightly to his left three times, and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, for it will not harm him."
حضرت ابو قتادہ (رض) سے روایت ہے فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ اچھا خواب اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے ہے اور برا خواب شیطان کی طرف سے ہے، جب تم میں سے کوئی بری چیز دیکھے تو بائیں طرف تین مرتبہ ہلکا سا تھوک دے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس خواب کے شر سے پناہ مانگے ، وہ خواب اس کو ضرر نہیں پہنچائے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Qatada (RA) se riwayat hai farmate hain ke maine Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko ye farmate huye suna ke achha khwab Allah Ta'ala ki taraf se hai aur bura khwab shaitan ki taraf se hai, jab tum mein se koi buri cheez dekhe to baen taraf teen martaba halka sa thook de, aur Allah Ta'ala se us khwab ke shar se panah mange, wo khwab usko nuqsan nahin pahunchaye ga.
Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "If anyone of you sees a dream that he dislikes, he should spit dryly to his left three times, and seek refuge with Allah from the Shaitan three times, and then turn over from the side which he was lying on."
حضرت جابر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی ایسا خواب دیکھے جو اس کو برا لگتا ہو تو اپنے بائیں طرف تین مرتبہ تھوک دے اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے تین مرتبہ پناہ مانگے ا، اور جس کروٹ پر لیٹا ہوا ہے اس کو بدل لے۔
Hazrat Jaber (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh jab tum mein se koi aisa khwab dekhe jo us ko bura lagta ho to apne baen taraf teen martaba thook de aur Allah Ta'ala se teen martaba panah maange, aur jis karwat par leta hua hai us ko badal le.
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Dreams have meanings and names. You should narrate their meanings and interpret them according to their names, and a dream comes true according to the interpretation of the first interpreter."
حضرت انس (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ خوابوں کی کنیتیں بھی ہوتی ہیں اور ان کے نام بھی ہوتے ہیں ، تم ان کی کنیتیں بیان کردیا کرو اور ان کے ناموں کے اعتبار سے ان کی تعبیریں بیان کردیا کرو، اور خواب پہلے تعبیر بیان کرنے والے کے مطابق ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Anas (RA) se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh khwabon ki kunniatian bhi hoti hain aur un ke naam bhi hote hain, tum un ki kunniatian bayan kar diya karo aur un ke naamon ke aitabaar se un ki taabirain bayan kar diya karo, aur khwab pehle tabeer bayan karne wale ke mutabiq hota hai.
