It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Auf bin Malik Ashja'i that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Dreams are of three types: some dreams are from Satan, to frighten; some are those matters which a person thinks of when awake, so they appear in the dream; and some dreams are one forty-sixth part of Prophethood."
حضرت عوف بن مالک اشجعی سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ خواب تین قسم کے ہوتے ہیں ، بعض خواب شیطان کی طرف سے ڈرانے کے لیے ہوتے ہیں، اور بعض وہ معاملات ہوتے ہیں جن کو آدمی بیداری میں سوچتا ہے تو وہ خواب میں نظر آجاتے ہیں ، اور بعض خواب نبوت کا چھیالیسواں حصّہ ہوتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Auf bin Malik Ashjai se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya ki khwab teen qisam ke hote hain, baz khwab shaitan ki taraf se darane ke liye hote hain, aur baz wo mamlat hote hain jin ko aadmi bedari mein sochta hai to wo khwab mein nazar aate hain, aur baz khwab nubawwat ka chheyaliswan hissa hote hain.
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Dreams are of three types: a glad tiding from Allah, the ramblings of the mind, and a frightening from Satan. So if one of you sees a dream which pleases him, let him tell it to whomever he wishes, but if he sees something he dislikes then he should not tell it to anyone and he should stand up and pray."
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ خواب تین قسم کے ہوتے ہیں ، بعض خواب اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے خوشخبری ہوتے ہیں، اور بعض خواب دل کی باتیں ہوتی ہیں، اور بعض خواب شیطان کی طرف سے ڈرانے کے لیے ہوتے ہیں، جب تم میں سے کوئی اچھا خواب دیکھے تو اس کو چاہیے کہ بیان کر دے اگر اس کا جی چاہے، اور جب کوئی ناپسندیدہ خواب دیکھے تو کسی کو نہ بتائے اور کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھ لے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh khawab teen qisam ke hote hain, baz khawab Allah Ta'ala ki taraf se khushkhabri hote hain, aur baz khawab dil ki baatein hoti hain, aur baz khawab shaitan ki taraf se darane ke liye hote hain, jab tum mein se koi acha khawab dekhe to usko chahie keh bayan kar de agar uska jee chahe, aur jab koi napasandeedah khawab dekhe to kisi ko na bataye aur khara ho kar namaz parh le.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Alqama that Hazrat Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Dreams are of three types: some dreams are due to the coming of Satan, and sometimes a person talks to his heart about the intricacies of the day and then sees the same at night, and some dreams are true."
حضرت علقمہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عبداللہ (رض) نے فرمایا کہ خواب تین طرح کے ہیں، بعض خواب شیطان کے آنے کی وجہ سے ہوتے ہیں، اور بعض اوقات آدمی دن کے دقت اپنے دل سے باتیں کرتا ہے تو اسی کو رات میں دیکھتا ہے، اور بعض حقیقی خواب ہوتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Alqama se riwayat hai keh Hazrat Abdullah (RA) ne farmaya keh khwab teen tarah ke hain, baz khwab shetan ke aane ki wajah se hote hain, aur baz auqat aadmi din mein apne dil se baaten karta hai to usi ko raat mein dekhta hai, aur baz haqeeqi khwab hote hain.
