It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that people should avoid looking up at the sky during prayer, lest their eyesight not return.
حضرت جابر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ لوگوں کو چاہیے کہ نماز میں آسمان کی طرف نظریں اٹھانے سے باز آجائیں ورنہ ہوسکتا ہے کہ ان کی نگاہ واپس نہ آئے۔
Hazrat Jaber se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh logon ko chahiye keh namaz mein aasman ki taraf nazrein uthane se baaz aa jaen warna ho sakta hai keh un ki nigaah wapas na aaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What is wrong with the people that they raise their eyes towards the sky in prayer?" He strongly condemned this act, to the extent that he said that they should refrain from doing so, lest their eyesight be taken away.
حضرت انس سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ لوگوں کو کیا ہوا کہ وہ نماز میں آنکھیں آسمان کی طرف اٹھاتے ہیں۔ آپ نے اس بارے میں شدید نکیر فرمائی ، یہاں تک کہ فرمایا کہ وہ ایسا کرنے سے باز آجائیں کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ ان کی بینائی سلب کرلی جائے۔
Hazrat Anas se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya ki logon ko kya hua ke woh namaz mein aankhen aasman ki taraf uthate hain. Aap ne is bare mein shadid nakair farmaai, yahan tak ki farmaya ke woh aisa karne se baz aa jayen kahin aisa na ho ke un ki beenayi salab kar li jaye.
Hazrat Abdullah narrates that those who look up at the sky while praying should refrain from doing so, lest their eyesight be taken away.
حضرت عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نماز میں آسمان کی طرف نگاہیں اٹھانے والے ایسا کرنے سے باز آجائیں کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ ان کی بینائی سلب کرلی جائے۔
Hazrat Abdullah farmate hain ki namaz mein aasman ki taraf nigahen uthane wale aisa karne se baz aa jain kahin aisa na ho ki un ki beenai salab kar li jaye.
Hazrat Abdullah saw a man who was looking up at the sky in prayer. You said: "Does he know that his eyesight could be taken away before it returns?"
حضرت عبداللہ نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھاجس نے نماز میں نگاہ آسمان کی طرف اٹھا رکھی تھی۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ کیا یہ جانتا ہے کہ اس کی بینائی واپس آنے سے پہلے ختم کی جاسکتی ہے ؟
Hazrat Abdullah ne aik aadmi ko dekha jis ne namaz mein nigaah aasman ki taraf utha rakhi thi Aap ne farmaya ke kya yeh janta hai ke iski beenai wapas aane se pehle khatam ki ja sakti hai
Hazrat Shuraiha saw a man who had raised his gaze and hand towards the sky in prayer. He said, "Lower your hand and cast down your gaze, for you can neither see Him nor grasp Him."
حضرت شریح نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا جس نے نماز میں اپنی نظر اور ہاتھ کو آسمان کی طرف اٹھا رکھا تھا۔ انھوں نے فرمایا کہ اپنے ہاتھ کو نیچے کرلو اور اپنی نگاہ کو جھکا لو کیونکہ تم نہ اسے دیکھ سکتے ہو اور نہ اسے پکڑ سکتے ہو۔
Hazrat Shariah ne aik aadmi ko dekha jis ne namaz mein apni nazar aur hath ko aasman ki taraf utha rakha tha unhon ne farmaya ke apne hath ko neeche karlo aur apni nigaah ko jhuka lo kyunki tum na use dekh sakte ho aur na use pakad sakte ho
Hazrat Ibn Sirin said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to look up and see something in prayer. Until this verse was revealed: {الذينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ} "Those who are humble in their prayers." After its revelation, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bowed his head.
حضرت ابن سیرین فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز میں نگاہ اٹھا کے کسی چیز کو دیکھ لیا کرتے تھے۔ یہاں تک کہ یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : { الَّذِینَ ہُمْ فِی صَلاَتِہِمْ خَاشِعُونَ } وہ لوگ جو اپنی نمازوں میں خشوع اختیار کرنے والے ہیں۔ اس کے نزول کے بعد حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے سر کو جھکا لیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Sireen farmate hain ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) namaz mein nigaah utha ke kisi cheez ko dekh liya karte the. Yahan tak ke ye ayat nazil hui: {Allazina hum fi salatihim khashiun} Wo log jo apni namaazon mein khushu ikhtiyar karne wale hain. Iske nuzul ke baad Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apne sar ko jhuka liya.
