It is narrated from Hazrat Amir bin Masood that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The fast of winter is cool booty.
حضرت عامر بن مسعود سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ سردیوں کا روزہ ٹھنڈی غنیمت ہے۔
Hazrat Amir bin Masood se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya keh sardiyon ka roza thandi ghanimat hai.
Hazrat Mujahid narrates that when the winter season would arrive, Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair used to say: "O reciters of the Quran! Your nights have become long for prayer and your days short for fasting, so consider this a bounty."
حضرت مجاہد فرماتے ہیں کہ جب سردی کا موسم آتا تو حضرت عبید بن عمیر فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ اے قرآن والو ! نماز کے لیے تمہاری رات لمبی ہوگئی ہے اور روزے کے لیے دن چھوٹا ہوگیا ہے۔ اسے غنیمت جانو۔
Hazrat Mujahid farmate hain keh jab sardi ka mausam aata to Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair farmaya karte the keh aye Quran walo! Namaz ke liye tumhari raat lambi hogayi hai aur rozey ke liye din chhota hogaya hai. Ise ghanimat jaano.
