كِتَابُ الْأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ وَالْكَفَّارَاتِ
Who said there is no vow in disobedience to Allah, nor in what one does not possess
مَنْ قَالَ لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ، وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 12146
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever considers something a vow of obedience to Allah, then he should obey Allah, and whoever considers something a vow of disobedience to Allah, then he should not disobey Allah.
حضرت عائشہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : جو شخص اللہ کی اطاعت کی نذر مانے اس کو چاہیے کہ اللہ کی اطاعت کرے اور جو اللہ کی نافرمانی کی نذر مانے اس کو چاہیے کہ اللہ کی نافرمانی نہ کرے۔
Hazrat Ayesha se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs Allah ki ita'at ki nazar maane usko chahiye keh Allah ki ita'at kare aur jo Allah ki nafarmani ki nazar maane usko chahiye keh Allah ki nafarmani na kare.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ : « مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ ، فَلَا يَعْصِهِ »
