Book of Oaths, Vows, and Expiations
١١-
كِتَابُ الْأَيْمَانِ وَالنُّذُورِ وَالْكَفَّارَاتِ
Regarding a man swearing by something other than Allah or by his father
الرَّجُلُ يَحْلِفُ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ أَوْ بِأَبِيهِ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 12284
Hazrat Hasan says: "I found people that if one of them would ride (an animal), he would immediately, before anyone would utter the name of anything besides Allah, make his animal run (meaning: they feared uttering anything besides the name of Allah that much)."
حضرت حسن فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے لوگوں کو پایا کہ اگر ان میں سے کوئی سواری پر سوار ہوتا تو وہ فوراً اس سے پہلے کہ کوئی غیر اللہ کی قسم کھائے اپنی سواری دوڑا دیتا تھا۔ (یعنی غیر اللہ کی قسم سے وہ لوگ اتنا ڈرتے تھے) ۔
Hazrat Hassan farmate hain ke maine logon ko paya ke agar in mein se koi sawari par sawar hota to wo foran is se pehle ke koi ghair Allah ki qasam khaye apni sawari daura deta tha. (yani ghair Allah ki qasam se wo log itna darte thay).
ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : « لَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُ النَّاسَ ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ لَأَنْضَاهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْمَعَ رَجُلًا يَحْلِفُ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ »
