Concerning the person in Ihram needing to wear sandals

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 14640

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When shoes are not available, then one should wear socks that are below the ankles.

حضرت ابن عمر سے مروی ہے کہ حضور اقدس (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : جب جوتے نہ ملیں تو وہ ایسے موزے پہن لے جو ٹخنے سے نیچے ہوں۔

Hazrat Ibn Umar se marvi hai keh Huzoor Aqdas (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Jab jootay na milen to wo aise mozay pehen le jo takhnay se neechay hon.

أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ : « إِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ لَبِسَ الْخُفَّيْنِ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ »
