كِتَابُ الطَّلَاقِ
What they said about it if he converts while she is in her waiting period, who said: He has more right to her.
مَا قَالُوا: فِيهِ إِذَا أَسْلَمَ وَهِيَ فِي عِدَّتِهَا؟، مَنْ قَالَ: هُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (R.A) said that if a person accepts Islam after his wife, then the woman will have the right during the waiting period or he said that in case of accepting Islam during the waiting period of a woman, she will have more right.
حضرت عمر بن عبدالعزیز (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کوئی شخص اپنی بیوی کے بعد اسلام قبول کرے تو عدت کے دوران عورت کو اختیار ہوگا، یا یہ فرمایا کہ عورت کی عدت میں اسلام قبول کرنے کی صورت میں وہ زیادہ حق دار ہوگا۔
Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (RA) farmate hain keh agar koi shakhs apni biwi ke baad Islam qubool kare to iddat ke doran aurat ko ikhtiyar hoga, ya yeh farmaya keh aurat ki iddat mein Islam qubool karne ki soorat mein woh zyada haqdar hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، قَالَ : نا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ : " إِذَا أَسْلَمَ الزَّوْجُ بَعْدَ امْرَأَتِهِ خَيَّرَهَا مَا دَامَتْ فِي الْعِدَّةِ ، أَوْ قَالَ : هُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا مَا دَامَتْ فِي الْعِدَّةِ "
