كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ
Who said: The profit is according to what they agreed upon, and the loss is on the principal amount
مَنْ قَالَ: الرِّبْحُ عَلَى مَا اصْطَلَحَا عَلَيْهِ وَالْوَضِيعَةُ عَلَى رَأْسِ الْمَالِ

Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Sha'bi state that the profit between two partners in a thing shall be divided between them according to the amount they have invested, and the loss shall be borne out of the capital.
حضرت ابراہیم اور حضرت شعبی فرماتے ہیں کہ کسی چیز کے دو شریکوں کو نفع ان کی طے کردہ مقدار کے بقدر ملے گا اور نقصان راس المال میں سے پورا کیا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Ibrahim aur Hazrat Shoaib farmate hain ke kisi cheez ke do sharikon ko nafa un ki tay shuda miqdar ke baqadar milega aur nuqsan raas ul mal mein se poora kia jayega.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ : نَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَصْحَابِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وعَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَالشَّعْبِيِّ ، فِي الشَّرِيكَيْنِ قَالَا : « الشَّرِكَةُ عَلَى مَا اصْطَلَحَا عَلَيْهِ ، وَالْوَضِيعَةُ عَلَى الْمَالِ »
