كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ

On a man buying something without looking at it, who said: He has the choice when he sees it, if he wishes, he can take it, and if he wishes, he can leave it

‌فِي الرَّجُلِ يَشْتَرِي الشَّيْءَ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ مَنْ قَالَ: هُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ إِذَا رَآهُ إِنْ شَاءَ أَخَذَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ

Hazrat Shabi states that if a person buys something without seeing it, then he has the option to keep it or return it after seeing it.

حضرت شعبی فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر کسی آدمی نے کوئی چیز دیکھے بغیر خرید لی تو اسے دیکھنے کے بعد اختیار ہے خواہ رکھے یا چھوڑ دے۔

Hazrat Shabi farmate hain keh agar kisi aadmi ne koi cheez dekhe baghair kharid li to use dekhne ke baad ikhtiyar hai chahe rakhe ya chhor de.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : نَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، فِيمَنِ اشْتَرَى شَيْئًا لَمْ يَنْظُرْ إِلَيْهِ ، كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ قَالَ : « هُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ ، إِنْ شَاءَ أَخَذَ ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ » قَالَ :
