١٧-
كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ On a man having a debt with another man and giving him a gift, whether it counts as part of the debt
فِي الرَّجُلِ يَكُونُ لَهُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ الدَّيْنُ فَيُهْدِي لَهُ، أَيَحْسِبُهُ مِنْ دَيْنِهِ

Hazrat Ibrahim says that if there was a series of invitations and gifts between them before the loan, then there is no harm and it should not be considered a loan.
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر ان کے درمیان قرض سے پہلے دعوتوں اور ہدایا کا سلسلہ تھا تو کچھ حرج نہیں اور اسے قرض میں سے شمار نہ کرے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain keh agar un ke darmayan qarz se pehle daawaton aur hadiya ka silsila tha to kuch harj nahi aur ise qarz mein se shumaar na kare.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، وَمُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : « إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ قَدْ جَرَى بَيْنَهُمَا قَبْلَ الدَّيْنِ يَدْعُوهُ الْآخَرُ فَيُكَافِئُهُ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ ، وَلَا يَحْسِبُهُ مِنْ دَيْنِهِ »
