كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ On two men disputing, one claiming something against the other, who should take the oath
فِي الرَّجُلَيْنِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ فَيَدَّعِي أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَى الْآخَرِ الشَّيْءَ، عَلَى مَنْ تَكُونُ الْيَمِينُ

Hazrat Shabi said to a man, "Swear to me that you did not sell her (your slave girl) when she was sick."
حضرت شعبی نے ایک آدمی سے فرمایا کہ تم قسم کھاؤ کہ تم نے اسے بیماری کے ساتھ اپنی باندی نہیں بیچی۔
Hazrat Shuaibi ne aik aadmi se farmaya keh tum qasam khao keh tum ne usay bimari ke sath apni bandi nahi bechee.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، وَأَبِي شُبْرُمَةَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ : « احْلِفْ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَبِعْهُ ذَا »
