كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ Regarding a man who gifts another or sends him a gift.
فِي الرَّجُلِ يُهْدِي إِلَى الرَّجُلِ أَوْ يَبْعَثُ إِلَيْهِ

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 21989
It is narrated from Hazrat Zahri (R.A) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The best thing is to give a gift in time of need.
حضرت زہری (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : بہترین چیز ۔ بوقت ضرورت ہدیہ کرنا ہے۔
Hazrat Zahri (RA) se marvi hai ke Aap (SAWW) ne irshad farmaya: Behtarin cheez - ba waqt zarurat hadiya karna hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « نِعْمَ الشَّيْءُ الْهَدِيَّةُ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْحَاجَةِ »
