كِتَابُ الْبُيُوعِ وَالْأَقْضِيَةِ The shepherd is liable.
الرَّاعِي عَلَيْهِ ضَمَانٌ

Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) said that if a shepherd is of many people, then he will be held accountable, but if he is your shepherd alone, then there is no accountability on him.
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر چرواہا کئی لوگوں کا ہو تو پھر وہ ضامن ہوگا، اور اگر صرف تمہارا چرواہا ہو تو پھر اس پر ضمان نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain keh agar charwaha kai logon ka ho to phir wo zaman hoga, aur agar sirf tumhara charwaha ho to phir us par zaman nahin hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : « يَضْمَنُ الرَّاعِي ، إِذَا كَانَ يَرْعَى لَكَ وَحْدَكَ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ ضَمَانٌ »
