Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23391
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salama (R.A.) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to two persons: "You both cast lots and then intend for the right thing, and then it is incumbent upon each of you to make his share usable for the other."
حضرت ام سلمہ (رض) سے مروی ہے کہ آنحضرت (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دو شخصوں سے فرمایا : تم دونوں قرعہ اندازی ڈالو پھر حق بات کا قصد کرو، اور پھر تم میں سے ہر ایک کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنا حصہ دوسرے کے لیے قابلِ استعمال بنائے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma (RA) se marvi hai keh Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne do shakhson se farmaya: Tum donon quraa andazi daalo phir haq baat ka qasd karo, aur phir tum mein se har ek ko chahiye keh woh apna hissa doosre ke liye qabil e istemaal banaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِرَجُلَيْنِ : « اسْتَهِمَا ثُمَّ تَوَخَّيَا الْحَقَّ ثُمَّ لِيَحْلِلْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمَا صَاحِبَهُ »
