Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23436
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Qays bint Muhsin that she said: I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with one of my sons, and I had applied leeches to him for a sore throat. He (the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)) said, "Why are you strangling him? Treat him with this Indian costus, for it is a cure for seven ailments. If he has a sore throat, it should be inhaled through the nose, and if he has pleurisy, it should be applied to the corner of the mouth."
حضرت ام قیس بنت محصن سے روایت ہے۔ کہتی ہیں : کہ میں اپنے ایک بیٹے کو لے کر جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور میں نے حلق کے درد کی وجہ سے اس کو جونک لگا رکھی تھی۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” تم اپنی کا گلا کیوں گھونٹ رہی ہو ؟ تم یہ علاج کرو۔ تم یہ عود ہندی کو استعمال کرو۔ کیونکہ اس میں سات بیماریوں سے شفاء ہے۔ حلق کا درد ہو تو اس کو بذریعہ ناک کھینچا جائے اور ذات الجنب ہو تو اس کو منہ کے گوشہ سے استعمال کیا جائے۔
Hazrat Umm Qais bint Muhsin se riwayat hai. Kehti hain : keh mein apne aik bete ko lekar janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur mein ne halq ke dard ki wajah se us ko jonk laga rakhi thi. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya : " Tum apni ka gala kyon ghonth rahi ho ? Tum yeh ilaaj karo. Tum yeh oud hindi ko istemal karo. Kyunki is mein saat bimariyon se shifa hai. Halq ka dard ho to is ko bazarya naak khencha jaye aur zaat ul janb ho to is ko munh ke goshe se istemal kiya jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ قَيْسٍ ابْنَةِ مِحْصَنٍ ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلْتُ بِابْنٍ لِي عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ أَعْلَقْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْعُذْرَةِ ، فَقَالَ : « عَلَى مَا تَدْغَرْنَ أَوْلَادَكُنَّ بِهَذَا الْعِلَاقِ ؟ عَلَيْكُنَّ بِهَذَا الْعُودِ الْهِنْدِيِّ ، فَإِنَّ فِيهِ سَبْعَةَ أَشْفِيَةٍ ، يُسْعَطُ بِهِ مِنَ الْعُذْرَةِ ، وَيُلَدُّ بِهِ مِنْ ذَاتِ الْجَنْبِ »
