Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 26069
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib narrates that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of the Battle of Trench in such a state that there was a streak of hair on your blessed chest, and you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were reciting the verses of Abdullah bin Rawaha as a rajaz and saying: O Allah! If it were not for Your grace, we would not have been guided. And we would not have given charity nor would we have prayed. So, send down Your mercy and tranquility upon us. And in case of encountering the enemy, grant us steadfastness. Surely, these people have rebelled against us. And if they try to create mischief against us, we will not accept it.
حضرت براء بن عازب فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو غزوہ خندق کے دن دیکھا اس حال میں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سینہ مبارک پر بالوں کی ایک لکیر تھی، اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) عبداللہ بن رواحہ کے ان اشعار کو بطور رجز پڑھ رہے تھے۔ اور فرما رہے تھے۔ اے اللہ ! اگر آپ کا فضل نہ ہوتا تو ہم ہدایت یافتہ نہ ہوتے۔ اور نہ ہم صدقہ کرنے اور نہ ہم نماز پڑھتے۔ پس تو ہم پر رحمت و سکینہ نازل فرما اور دشمن سے ملاقات ہونے کی صورت میں ہمیں ثابت قدمی عطا فرما۔ یقیناً ان لوگوں نے ہم پر سرکشی کی ۔ اور اگر وہ ہمارے خلاف فتنہ پیدا کریں گے تو ہم قبول نہیں کریں گے۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib farmate hain ke maine Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko Ghazwa Khandaq ke din dekha is hal mein ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke seena mubarak par balon ki ek lakeer thi, aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Abdullah bin Rawaaha ke in ashaar ko ba hawala rizq parh rahe the aur farma rahe the. Aye Allah! Agar aap ka fazal na hota to hum hidayat yaafta na hote. Aur na hum sadqa karne aur na hum namaz parhte. Pas to hum par rehmat o sakina nazil farma. Aur dushman se mulaqat hone ki soorat mein hamein sabat qadmi ata farma. Yaqinan in logon ne hum par sarkashi ki. Aur agar wo humare khilaf fitna paida karenge to hum qubool nahi karenge.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ ، وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ شَعْرِ الصَّدْرِ وَهُوَ يَرْتَجِزُ بِرَجَزِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَوَاحَةَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : « [ البحر الرجز ] اللَّهُمَّ لَوْلَا أَنْتَ مَا اهْتَدَيْنَا … وَلَا تَصَدَّقْنَا وَلَا صَلَّيْنَا فَأَنْزِلَنْ سَكِينَةً عَلَيْنَا … وَثَبِّتِ الْأَقْدَامَ إِنْ لَاقَيْنَا إِنَّ الْأُلَى قَدْ بَغَوْا عَلَيْنَا … وَإِنْ أَرَادُوا فِتْنَةً أَبَيْنَا »
