Does the one sitting behind guarantee?
الرِّدْفُ هَلْ يَضْمَنُ

Hazrat Abu Al-'Ala' states that Hazrat Qatadah and Hazrat Abu Hashim, both of these gentlemen have stated that the one who sits behind the rider will have the same amount of reward as the one who sits in the front.
حضرت ابو العلائ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت قتادہ اور حضرت ابو ہاشم ان دونوں حضرات نے یوں ارشاد فرمایا سوار کے پیچھے بیٹھنے والا بھی اتنا ہی ضامن ہوگا جتنا آگے بیٹھنے والا ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu ul Ala farmate hain ke Hazrat Qatada aur Hazrat Abu Hashim in donon hazrat ne yun irshad farmaya sawar ke peeche baithne wala bhi utna hi zaman hoga jitna aage baithne wala hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، وَأَبِي عَلِيٍّ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَا : « يَضْمَنُ الرِّدْفُ مَا يَضْمَنُ الْمُقَدَّمُ »
