Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 28305

Hazrat Hasan Basri narrates that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Strike terror into the heart of a thief (with the law), and do not be lenient with him."

حضرت حسن بصری فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمر نے ارشاد فرمایا : تم چور کو ڈراؤ اور اس کے ساتھ نرمی مت کرو۔

Hazrat Hassan Basri farmate hain ke Hazrat Umar ne irshad farmaya: Tum chor ko darao aur uske sath narmi mat karo.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ مُبَارَكٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عُمَرُ : « رَوِّعْ السَّارِقَ ، وَلَا تُرَاعِهِ »
