كِتَابُ الصَّلَوات
On standing and pausing when saying the takbir
فِي الْوُقُوفِ وَالسُّكُوتِ إِذَا كَبَّرَ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 2841
Hazrat Mughira narrates that when Hazrat Ibrahim used to recite Takbeer, he would remain silent for a while and then when he would finish Surah Fatiha, he would again remain silent for a while. Then when he would stand up for the second Rakat, he would not remain silent and would start reciting Surah Fatiha.
حضرت مغیرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابراہیم جب تکبیر کہتے تو تھوڑی دیر خاموش رہتے اور پھر جب سورة فاتحہ ختم کرتے تو پھر بھی تھوڑی دیر خاموش رہتے۔ پھر جب دوسری رکعت کے لیے اٹھتے تو خاموش نہ رہتے اور سورة فاتحہ شروع کردیتے۔
Hazrat Mugheera farmate hain ke Hazrat Ibrahim jab takbeer kehte to thodi der khamosh rehte aur phir jab Surah Fatiha khatam karte to phir bhi thodi der khamosh rehte. Phir jab dusri rakat ke liye uthte to khamosh na rehte aur Surah Fatiha shuru karte.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا كَبَّرَ سَكَتَ هُنيْهَةَ ، وَإِذَا قَالَ : ﴿ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ﴾ [ الفاتحة : ٧ ] سَكَتَ هُنيْهَةً ، وَإِذَا نَهَضَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ لَمْ يَسْكُتْ ، وَقَالَ : ﴿ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴾ [ الفاتحة : ٢ ] "
