كِتَابُ أَقْضِيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ Regarding a drunk person who kills.

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29103
Hazrat Ibrahim narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed the burden of diyat (blood money) on the Asaba relatives and declared it to be an inheritance of the murdered.
حضرت ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دیت کا بوجھ عصبہ رشتہ داروں پر ڈالا، اور دیت کو مقتول کی وراثت شمار فرمایا۔
Hazrat Ibrahim farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne dait ka bojh assabah rishtedaron par dala, aur dait ko maqtool ki warasat shumar farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : « قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْعَقْلِ عَلَى الْعَصَبَةِ ، وَالدِّيَةُ مِيرَاثٌ »
