What the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say in times of distress.

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29155
Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say these words in times of distress: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the All-Wise, the Most Generous. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the Mighty Throne."
حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مصیبت کے وقت یہ کلمات ادا فرماتے تھے : کوئی معبود نہیں سوائے اللہ کے جو حکمت والا ، سخی ہے، کوئی معبود نہیں سوائے اللہ کے ، جو آسمانوں کا رب اور عرش عظیم کا رب ہے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) musibat ke waqt ye kalmat ada farmate thay: Koi mabood nahin siwaye Allah ke jo hikmat wala, sakhi hai, koi mabood nahin siwaye Allah ke, jo asmanon ka rabb aur arsh azeem ka rabb hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ الْكَرْبِ : « لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ ، وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ »
