كِتَابُ الدُّعَاءِ
What a man should supplicate and be commanded to say when wearing new clothes.
مَا يَدْعُو بِهِ الرَّجُلُ وَيُؤْمَرُ بِهِ إِذَا لَبِسَ الثَّوْبَ الْجَدِيدَ

Hazrat Abu Nadra narrates that whenever the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would see someone wearing new clothes, they would pray, "Wear it and wear it out, may God grant you more."
حضرت ابو نضرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ! نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ جب کسی کو نیا کپڑا پہنا ہوا دیکھتے تو یوں دعا دیتے ، پہنو اور پھاڑو، خدا تمہیں اور دے۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا رَأَوْا عَلَى أَحَدِهِمِ الثَّوْبَ الْجَدِيدَ ، قَالُوا : تُبْلِي وَيُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ "
