كِتَابُ الْأُمَرَاءِ
What was mentioned about the traditions of rulers and visiting them
مَا ذُكِرَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأُمَرَاءِ وَالدُّخُولِ عَلَيْهِمْ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 30550
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Ayub (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that Hassan said to me, "Do you not wonder at Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to me and started asking me about fighting with Hajjaj and some chiefs were also with him, that is, the companions of Ibn al-Ash'ath."
حضرت ایوب (رض) سے روایت ہے فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے حسن نے کہا کیا تمہیں سعید بن جبیر (رض) پر تعجب نہیں ہوتا اس بات سے کہ وہ میرے پاس آئے اور مجھ سے حجاج کے ساتھ قتال کے بارے میں پوچھنے لگے اور ان کے ساتھ بعض رؤساء بھی تھے یعنی ابن الأشعث کے ساتھی۔
Hazrat Ayub (RA) se riwayat hai farmate hain keh mujh se Hasan ne kaha kya tumhein Saeed bin Jubair (RA) par taajjub nahin hota is baat se keh woh mere pass aaye aur mujh se Hajjaj ke sath qatal ke bare mein poochhne lage aur un ke sath baaz ruasa bhi thay yani Ibn al-Ash'ath ke sathi.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي الْحَسَنُ : « أَلَا تَعْجَبُ مِنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَأَلَنِي عَنْ قِتَالِ الْحَجَّاجِ وَمَعَهُ بَعْضُ الرُّؤَسَاءِ » - يَعْنِي أَصْحَابَ ابْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ -
