كِتَابُ الْوَصَايَا
Who said: It should be given to relatives
مَنْ قَالَ: يُرَدُّ عَلَى ذِي الْقَرَابَةِ

Ata' bin Abi Rabah narrated that I asked 'Ala' bin Ziyad and Muslim bin Yasar about the will. They asked for a copy of the Qur'an and read the Verse: {If you leave behind some wealth, the best is to make will for parents and next of kin.} And they said: "The will is for the relatives."
عطاء بن أبی میمونہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے علاء بن زیاد اور مسلم بن یسار سے وصیت کے بارے میں دریافت کیا تو انھوں نے قرآن پاک منگوایا اور آیت {إنْ تَرَکَ خَیْرًا الْوَصِیَّۃُ لِلْوَالِدَیْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِینَ } پڑھی ، اور پھر فرمایا کہ وصیت رشتہ داروں کے لیے ہے۔
Ata bin Abi Moimna farmate hain ke maine Ala bin Ziad aur Muslim bin Yasar se wasiyat ke bare mein puchha to unhon ne Quran Pak mangwaya aur ayat {In Taraka Khayran Alwasiyatu Lil Walidain Wal Aqrabin} padhi, aur phir farmaya ke wasiyat rishtedaron ke liye hai.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ زِيَادٍ ، وَمُسْلِمَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ عَنِ الْوَصِيَّةِ ، فَدَعَا بِالْمُصْحَفِ فَقَرَأَ : ﴿ إِنْ تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ﴾ [ البقرة : ١٨٠ ] قَالَا : « هِيَ لِلْقَرَابَةِ »
