Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 30948

It is narrated from Abdullah bin Badr that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the verse of inheritance has abrogated the saying {If he leaves behind any good [i.e., wealth], then [he should make] a will}.

عبداللہ بن بدر سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابن عمر (رض) نے فرمایا کہ {إنْ تَرَکَ خَیْرًا الْوَصِیَّۃُ } کو میراث کی آیت نے منسوخ کردیا ہے۔

Abdulalah bin Badr se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) ne farmaya ki {In taraka khairan al-wasiyyatu} ko miراث ki ayat ne mansookh kar diya hai.

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ الْجَهْضَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَدْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : ﴿ إِنْ تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ ﴾ [ البقرة : ١٨٠ ]، قَالَ : « نَسَخَتْهَا آيَةُ الْفَرَائِضِ ، وَتَرَكَ الْأَقْرَبُونَ مِمَّنْ لَا يَرِثُ »
