كِتَابُ الْفَرَائِضِ Regarding the grandfather, what is his right, and what came regarding him from the Prophet ﷺ and others.

Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31216
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) narrates that, during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we used to consider the paternal uncle as an inheritor.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے زمانے میں دادا کو وارث بنایا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain ke hum Rasool Allah (SAW) ke zamane mein dada ko waris banaya karte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : « كُنَّا نُوَرِّثُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْنِي الْجَدَّ »
