Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31770
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The example of me and the prophets before me is that of a person who built a house and completed it, except for the place of one brick. So the people would enter it, marvel at it, and say, 'If only this place of the brick was not empty!' The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'I am the place of that brick. I came and I sealed the Prophethood.'"
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ میری اور انبیاء کی مثال اس شخص کی سی ہے جس نے گھر بنایا ہو اور اس کو مکمل کردیا ہو سوائے ایک اینٹ کی جگہ کے، چنانچہ لوگ اس میں داخل ہوں اور اس پر تعجب کریں اور کہیں کہ اگر یہ اینٹ کی جگہ خالی نہ ہوتی تو اچھا ہوتا، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں اس اینٹ کی جگہ ہوں، میں آیا اور میں نے انبیاء کو ختم کردیا۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah farmate hain keh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh meri aur anbiya ki misaal us shakhs ki si hai jis ne ghar banaya ho aur us ko mukammal kardiya ho siwae ek eent ki jagah ke, chunancha log us mein dakhil hon aur us par taajub karen aur kahen keh agar yeh eent ki jagah khali na hoti to achcha hota, Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) farmate hain keh main us eent ki jagah hon, main aaya aur maine anbiya ko khatam kardiya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ : ثنا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ قَالَ : ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مِينَاءَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ : " مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ بَنَى دَارًا فَأَتَمَّهَا وَأَكْمَلَهَا إِلَّا مَوْضِعَ لَبِنَةٍ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَيَتَعَجَّبُونَ مِنْهَا وَيَقُولُونَ : لَوْلَا مَوْضِعُ اللَّبِنَةِ " قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « فَأَنَا مَوْضِعُ اللَّبِنَةِ جِئْتُ فَخَتَمْتُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ »
