Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31769
Hazrat Abu Saeed narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The example of me and the Prophets before me is like a man who built a house and completed it, but left out the place of one brick. So the people went into it and marvelled at it and said: 'What a fine building is this, except for the place of this one brick!' So I am that brick, and I am the seal of the Prophets."
حضرت ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ میری اور انبیاء کی مثال اس آدمی کی سی ہے جس نے گھر بنایا ہو اور اس کو مکمل کردیا ہو اور ایک اینٹ چھوڑ دی ہو ، میں آیا اور میں نے اس اینٹ کی جگہ کو پر کردیا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed farmate hain ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya ke meri aur anbiya ki misal is aadmi ki si hai jis ne ghar banaya ho aur us ko mukammal kar diya ho aur ek eent chhor di ho, main aaya aur main ne us eent ki jagah ko pur kar diya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « إِنَّمَا مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ النَّبِيِّينَ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ بَنَى دَارًا فَأَتَمَّهَا إِلَّا لَبِنَةً وَاحِدَةً فَجِئْتُ أَنَا فَأَتْمَمْتُ تِلْكَ اللَّبِنَةَ »
