Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 31959
Hazrat Abu Al-Hazeel (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No one has done more good to me than Abu Bakr, not even my own self. And if I were to take a close friend (from among men), I would have taken Abu Bakr. But he is my brother in faith and my companion, and surely your companion has been taken as a close friend (by Allah)." Meaning, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) have been taken as a close friend by Allah.
حضرت ابو الھذیل (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : : کوئی ایک بھی مجھ پر ابوبکر سے زیادہ احسان کرنے والا نہیں ہے اپنی ذات سے بھی زیادہ، اور اگر میں کسی کو دوست بناتا تو میں ابوبکر کو بناتا ۔ لیکن وہ میرے دینی بھائی اور ساتھی ہیں ، اور تمہارے ساتھی کو یقیناً دوست بنا لیا گیا ہے۔ یعنی آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ۔
Hazrat Abu al Hadil (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Koi aik bhi mujh per Abu Bakar se zyada ehsaan karne wala nahi hai apni zaat se bhi zyada, aur agar main kisi ko dost banata to main Abu Bakar ko banata. Lekin woh mere deeni bhai aur sathi hain, aur tumhare sathi ko yaqeenan dost bana liya gaya hai. Yani aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ : « مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ أَمَنُّ عَلَيْنَا فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، وَلَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ، وَلَكِنْ أَخِي وَصَاحِبِي وَعَلَى دِينِي ، وَصَاحِبُكُمْ قَدِ اتُّخِذَ خَلِيلًا » - يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ
