Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 32023
Hazrat Umar bin Jawan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Hazrat Hanf bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were in Medina when Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived. It was said that this is Hazrat Usman (may Allah be pleased with him). You (may Allah be pleased with you) entered while you (may Allah be pleased with you) were wearing a yellow sheet with which you (may Allah be pleased with you) had covered your head. You (may Allah be pleased with you) asked: Is Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) here? The people submitted: Yes! You (may Allah be pleased with you) asked: Is Hazrat Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) here? The people submitted: Yes! You (may Allah be pleased with you) asked: Is Hazrat Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) here? The people submitted: Yes! You (may Allah be pleased with you) asked: Is Hazrat Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) here? The people submitted: Yes! You (may Allah be pleased with you) said: I ask you, taking an oath of the Being besides Whom there is no deity worthy of worship, do you know about this statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which you (may Allah be pleased with you) said: that whoever buys the enclosure of the camels of such and such tribe, then Allah will forgive him, so I bought that enclosure for twenty thousand or twenty-five thousand. Then I presented myself in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I submitted: Indeed, I have bought that enclosure. Upon this, you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: You should endow this place for our Masjid and you will get its reward? The narrator says: All these gentlemen unanimously said: By Allah! This is exactly what happened. You (may Allah be pleased with you) said: I swear to you by Allah, besides Whom there is no deity worthy of worship: Do you know about this statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that whoever buys the well of Ruma sweet water, then Allah will forgive him. So I bought that well for such and such rupees, then I came to you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I submitted: Indeed, I have bought it, so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: You should endow it for the Muslims to drink and you will get its reward? The narrator says: All these gentlemen unanimously said: By Allah! This is exactly what happened. You (may Allah be pleased with you) said: I ask you, taking an oath of Allah, besides Whom there is no deity: Do you know about this statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: While you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were looking towards the faces of the people, that who is the person who will provide the luggage for the journey of these people. Allah will forgive that person. Meaning in the battle of Tabuk. So I provided luggage for all of them to the extent that they did not even lack a camel's halter and a camel's foot rope? All of them unanimously said: By Allah! This is exactly what happened, you (may Allah be pleased with you) said three times: O Allah! You are a witness.
حضرت عمر بن جاوان (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت احنف بن قیس (رض) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ہم لوگ مدینہ میں تھے کہ حضرت عثمان (رض) تشریف لائے۔ کہا گیا کہ یہ حضرت عثمان (رض) ہیں۔ آپ (رض) داخل ہوئے اس حال میں کہ آپ (رض) پر زرد رنگ کی چادر تھی جس سے آپ (رض) نے اپنا سر ڈھانپا ہوا تھا۔ آپ (رض) نے پوچھا : یہاں حضرت علی (رض) ہیں ؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا : جی ہاں ! آپ (رض) نے پوچھا : یہاں حضرت طلحہ (رض) ہیں ؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا : جی ہاں ! آپ (رض) نے پوچھا : یہاں حضرت زبیر (رض) ہیں ؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا : جی ہاں ! آپ (رض) نے پوچھا : یہاں حضرت سعد (رض) ہیں ؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا : جی ہاں ! آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : میں تم لوگوں کو قسم دے کر پوچھتا ہوں اس ذات کی جس کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں کہ کیا تم لوگ جانتے ہو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اس فرمان کو جو آپ (رض) نے ارشاد فرمایا : کہ جو شخص فلاں قبیلہ کے اونٹ کا باڑ ا خریدے گا تو اللہ اس کی مغفرت فرما دیں گے تو میں نے وہ باڑا بیس ہزار یا پچیس ہزار میں خریدا۔ پھر میں نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور میں نے عرض کیا : تحقیق میں نے وہ باڑا خرید لیا۔ اس پر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تم اس جگہ کو ہماری مسجد کے لیے وقف کردو اور اس کا اجر وثواب تمہیں ملے گا ؟ راوی کہتے ہیں : ان سب حضرات نے یک زبان ہو کر کہا : اللہ کی قسم ! ایسی ہی بات ہے۔ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : میں تم لوگوں کو قسم دیتا ہوں اس اللہ کی جس کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں : کیا تم لوگ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اس فرمان کے متعلق جانتے ہو جو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ جو شخص رومہ میٹھے پانی کا کنواں خریدے گا تو اللہ اس کی مغفرت فرما دیں گے۔ تو میں نے اس کنویں کو اتنے اور اتنے روپوں میں خریدا ، پھر میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا میں نے عرض کیا : تحقیق میں نے اس کو خرید لیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اسے مسلمانوں کے پینے کے لیے وقف کردو اور اس کا اجر تمہیں ملے گا ؟ راوی کہتے ہیں : ان سب حضرات نے یک زبان ہو کر فرمایا : اللہ کی قسم ! ایسی ہی بات ہے۔ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : میں تم لوگوں کو قسم دے کر پوچھتا ہوں اس اللہ کی جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں کیا تم لوگ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اس فرمان کو جانتے ہو جو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : اس حال میں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) لوگوں کے چہرے کی طرف دیکھ رہے تھے۔ کہ کون شخص ہے جو ان لوگوں کے سفر کا سامان مہیا کرے گا ۔ اللہ اس شخص کی مغفرت فرما دیں گے۔ یعنی غزوہ تبوک میں۔ تو میں نے ان سب کے لیے سامان مہیا کیا یہاں تک کہ ان لوگوں کو اونٹ کی نکیل اور اونٹ کے پیر کی رسی کی بھی کمی نہیں ہوئی ؟۔ ان سب حضرات نے یک زبان ہو کر فرمایا : اللہ کی قسم ! ایسی ہی بات ہے، آپ (رض) نے تین مرتبہ فرمایا : اے اللہ ! تو گواہ رہ۔
Hazrat Umar bin Jawan (RA) farmate hain ki Hazrat Ahnaf bin Qais (RA) ne irshad farmaya: Hum log Madinah mein thay ki Hazrat Usman (RA) tashreef laye. Kaha gaya ki yeh Hazrat Usman (RA) hain. Aap (RA) dakhil huye iss hal mein ki aap (RA) par zard rang ki chadar thi jisse aap (RA) ne apna sar dhanpa hua tha. Aap (RA) ne poocha: Yahan Hazrat Ali (RA) hain? Logon ne arz kiya: Ji haan! Aap (RA) ne poocha: Yahan Hazrat Talha (RA) hain? Logon ne arz kiya: Ji haan! Aap (RA) ne poocha: Yahan Hazrat Zubair (RA) hain? Logon ne arz kiya: Ji haan! Aap (RA) ne poocha: Yahan Hazrat Saad (RA) hain? Logon ne arz kiya: Ji haan! Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Main tum logon ko qasam de kar poochta hun iss zaat ki jis ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin ki kya tum log jante ho Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke iss farman ko jo aap (RA) ne irshad farmaya: Ki jo shakhs falan qabeele ke unt ka baada kharedega to Allah uski magfirat farma denge to maine woh baada bees hazar ya pachchees hazar mein khareeda. Phir mein Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur maine arz kiya: Tahqeeq maine woh baada khareed liya. Iss par aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Tum iss jagah ko hamari masjid ke liye waqf kardo aur iss ka ajr o sawab tumhe milega? Rawi kehte hain: Inn sab hazrat ne yak zaban ho kar kaha: Allah ki qasam! Aisi hi baat hai. Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Main tum logon ko qasam deta hun iss Allah ki jis ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin: Kya tum log Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke iss farman ke mutalliq jante ho jo Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya ki jo shakhs Roma meetha pani ka kunwan kharedega to Allah uski magfirat farma denge. To maine uss kunwan ko itne aur itne rupay mein khareeda, phir main aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hua maine arz kiya: Tahqeeq maine iss ko khareed liya to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Tum ise musalmanon ke pine ke liye waqf kardo aur iss ka ajr tumhein milega? Rawi kehte hain: Inn sab hazrat ne yak zaban ho kar farmaya: Allah ki qasam! Aisi hi baat hai. Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Main tum logon ko qasam de kar poochta hun iss Allah ki jis ke siwa koi mabood nahin kya tum log Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke iss farman ko jante ho jo aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Iss hal mein ki aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) logon ke chehre ki taraf dekh rahe thay. Ki kaun shakhs hai jo inn logon ke safar ka saman muhayya karega. Allah uss shakhs ki magfirat farma denge. Yaani Ghazwa Tabook mein. To maine inn sab ke liye saman muhayya kiya yahan tak ki inn logon ko unt ki nakeel aur unt ke pair ki rassi ki bhi kami nahin hui?. Inn sab hazrat ne yak zaban ho kar farmaya: Allah ki qasam! Aisi hi baat hai, Aap (RA) ne teen martaba farmaya: Aye Allah! To gawaah reh.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ جَاوَانَ ، عَنِ الْأَحْنَفِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَجَاءَ عُثْمَانُ فَقِيلَ : هَذَا عُثْمَانُ ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ مُلَاءَةٌ لَهُ صَفْرَاءُ قَدْ قَنَّعَ بِهَا رَأْسَهُ ، قَالَ : هَا هُنَا عَلِيٌّ ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : هَاهُنَا طَلْحَةُ ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : هَاهُنَا الزُّبَيْرُ ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : هَاهُنَا سَعْدٌ ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ، أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ ، قَالَ : « مَنْ يَبْتَاعُ مِرْبَدَ بَنِي فُلَانٍ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ »، فَابْتَعْتُهُ بِعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا أَوْ خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ أَلْفًا ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ : قَدِ ابْتَعْتُهُ ، فَقَالَ : « اجْعَلْهُ فِي مَسْجِدِنَا وَأَجْرُهُ لَكَ »، قَالَ : فَقَالُوا : اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ يَبْتَاعُ بِئْرَ رُومَةَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ»، فَابْتَعْتُهَا بِكَذَا وَكَذَا، ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ: قَدِ ابْتَعْتُهَا، فَقَالَ: «اجْعَلْهَا سِقَايَةً لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَجْرُهَا لَكَ»، قَالُوا: اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ: أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، أَتَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَظَرَ فِي وُجُوهِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ يُجَهِّزُ هَؤُلَاءِ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ» يَعْنِي جَيْشَ الْعُسْرَةِ، فَجَهَّزْتُهُمْ حَتَّى لَمْ يَفْقِدُوا عِقَالًا وَلَا خِطَامًا، قَالُوا: اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ، قَالَ: قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ ثَلَاثًا
