Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 32101
Hazrat Jumai' bin Umair (R.A.) narrates: My mother and my maternal aunt, Hazrat Aisha (R.A.), were visited by us, and we asked her: 'What was the status of Hazrat Ali (R.A.) in the eyes of Rasulullah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?' She (R.A.) replied: 'You have asked me about a man who placed his hand on the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) body in a place where no one else had. And the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) soul departed while in his hands as he wiped the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away.' It was asked: 'Where will you bury the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?' So Hazrat Ali (R.A.) said: 'No piece of land is more beloved to Allah than the one where this Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away.' Therefore, we buried him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in that very place.
حضرت جُمَیع بن عمیر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں میری والدہ اور میری خالہ حضرت عائشہ (رض) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے پس ہم نے ان سے پوچھا : کہ حضرت علی (رض) کا رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے نزدیک کیا مقام تھا ؟ آپ (رض) نے ارشاد فرمایا : تم نے مجھ سے ایک ایسے آدمی کے بارے میں سوال کیا جس نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے بدن پر ایسی جگہ ہاتھ رکھا جہاں کسی نے بھی نہیں رکھا۔ اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی جان ان ہاتھ میں نکلی کہ انھوں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے چہرے پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا وصال ہوگیا۔ پوچھا گیا : تم لوگ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو کہاں دفن کرو گے ؟ تو حضرت علی (رض) نے فرمایا : اللہ کے نزدیک زمین کا کوئی ٹکڑا اس حصہ سے زیادہ محبوب نہیں جس میں اس نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی وفات ہوئی۔ لہٰذا ہم نے اسی جگہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی تدفین کردی۔
Hazrat Jumai bin Umair (RA) farmate hain keh mein meri walida aur meri khala Hazrat Ayesha (RA) ki khidmat mein hazir huye pas hum ne un se poocha: keh Hazrat Ali (RA) ka Rasul Allah (SAW) ke nazdeek kya muqam tha? Aap (RA) ne irshad farmaya: tum ne mujh se ek aise aadmi ke bare mein sawal kiya jis ne Nabi (SAW) ke badan par aisi jagah hath rakha jahan kisi ne bhi nahi rakha. Aur aap (SAW) ki jaan un hath mein nikli keh unhon aap (SAW) ke chehre par hath phera aur aap (SAW) ka wisal hogaya. Poocha gaya: tum log Nabi (SAW) ko kahan dafan karoge? To Hazrat Ali (RA) ne farmaya: Allah ke nazdeek zameen ka koi tukda is hissa se ziada mahboob nahi jis mein is Nabi (SAW) ki wafat hui. Lihaza hum ne usi jagah aap (SAW) ki tadfeen kardi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ جُمَيْعِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ أَنَا وَأُمِّي وَخَالَتِي ، فَسَأَلْنَاهَا : كَيْفَ كَانَ عَلِيٌّ عِنْدَهُ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ رَجُلٍ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَوْضِعًا لَمْ يَضَعْهَا أَحَدٌ ، وَسَالَتْ نَفْسُهُ فِي يَدِهِ وَمَسَحَ بِهَا وَجْهَهُ وَمَاتَ ، فَقِيلَ : أَيْنَ يَدْفِنُوهُ ؟ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ : « مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ بُقْعَةٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ بُقْعَةٍ قَبَضَ فِيهَا نَبِيَّهُ » ، فَدَفَنَّاهُ
