كِتَابُ الْسير Regarding the cavalry, how much they should be given. Some said three shares.
فِي الْفَارِسِ كَمْ يُقْسَمُ لَهُ؟ مَنْ قَالَ: ثَلَاثَةَ أَسْهُمٍ

Hazrat Salma narrates from the companions of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the horseman will get two shares and the footman will get one share.
حضرت سلمہ اصحاب محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ گھوڑے کو دو اور پیادہ کو ایک حصہ ملے گا۔
Hazrat Salma Ashab Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se riwayat karte hain ke ghore ko do aur paidal ko aik hissa mile ga.
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَصْحَابُنَا ، عَنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا : « لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَانِ وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمٌ »
